To enable or disable YouTube video auto playing in home feed (playback in feeds) feature, Go to YouTube app “Settings > Data saving”. Next, turn on or off the “Muted playback in feeds over Wi-Fi only” setting.
When you turn on “Muted playback in feeds over Wi-Fi only” setting option, your YouTube home feeds video auto playing will turn off for mobile data. And, it will auto play with Wi-Fi connection only.
And,
When you turn off “Muted playback in feeds over Wi-Fi only” setting option, YouTube home feeds video auto playing will start for all connectivity (mobile data, Wi-Fi).
Note: In some cases, the home feed video auto playing feature does not start immediately after “playback in feeds” setting off. In that case, you need to close and re-open the YouTube app to get the effect of setting change.
