How to edit a category in WordPress?
1. Open categories list
Click Posts → Categories to open categories list in WordPress.
2. Edit category
In the categories list, each category have “Edit” and “Quick Edit” options to edit category.
2.1. Edit
Click the “Edit” category option to open the edit category page. Here, you can change category Name, Slug, Parent Category and Description. After making changes, click the “Update” button to save your changes.
2.2. Quick Edit
Quick edit option allows to update category name and slug from category listing. After changing category detail, click the “Update Category” button to save quick edit changes.
