From “Follow and invite friends settings” you can follow Threads accounts or invite friends to join Threads and follow your account.

Threads Follow and invite friends settings

You can open Threads app Follow and invite friends settings by following three steps,

  1. Tap profile icon from bottom right corner.
  2. Tap the Two line menu icon from the top right corner.
  3. And, Tap “Follow and invite friends” option.

Next, you find five different setting options, let’s check each of them one by one,

1. Follow accounts from Instagram

This Follow settings provide a list of accounts which you already follow on Instagram. Here, from the account list, you can follow an individual account or follow all accounts using the “Follow all” button.

After complete changes, tap “Done” option from top right corner to save and close the settings screen.

2. Invite friends by WhatsApp

This option allows you to send Join Threads and follow your account invitation via WhatsApp.

3. Invite friends by SMS

This option allows you to send Join Threads and follow your account invitation via SMS.

4. Invite friends by email

This option allows you to send Join Threads and follow your account invitation via Email.

5. Invite friends by…

This is a custom option for inviting friends to join Threads and follow your account. Here, you get the option to send invitation using available communication apps on your phone.
