Threads Account Settings

This guide is about Threads Instagram app Account Settings. Here, you know where to find Threads account settings and how to manage them.

How to open Account settings in the Threads app?

Open the Threads app.
Open Settings using the top right corner icon button.
Tap Account.
You can now manage your account for:
- Take a break
- Deactivate profile
- Other account setting (can be managed on Instagram)
  - Personal information
  - Supervision
  - Security
  - Account status
  - Download your information
  - Transfer your information

Following are Threads Instagram app account settings. Here, you can manage Take a break and Deactivate profile setting options, other settings can be managed on Instagram.

1. Take a break

This setting allows you to control your time on the Threads app. Here, you can schedule a reminder to take a break when you spend this amount of time at once on Threads.

You can set schedule break reminder for Every 10 minutes, Every 20 minutes, Every 30 minutes or Never.

2. Deactivate profile

You can Deactivate your Threads account profile using Settings → Account → Deactivate profile option.

Here, tap “Deactivate Threads profile” button and tap “Deactivate” confirm option in confirmation popup to deactivate your Threads account.

Other account settings

This option shows common account settings for Threads and Instagram, such as deleting your account. These all settings manage on Instagram only.
