Threads Notifications Settings – Manage Notifications

This guide is about Threads Instagram app Notifications Settings. Where you can find these settings and how to manage notifications for “Threads and replies” and “Following and followers” actions. Also, how to pause all notifications.

How to open notifications settings in the Threads app?

  1. Tap profile icon from bottom right corner.
  2. Open Settings using the top right corner icon button.
  3. Tap Notifications.
  4. You can now manage your notifications for:
    • Pause all
    • Threads and replies
    • Following and followers

Threads notifications settings

There are three main settings to manage notifications in the Threads app. They are,

1. Pause all

You can stop all the Threads notifications for some period of time using “Pause all” notification setting.

Pause all settings give options to stop all notifications for 15 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours or 8 hours.

By selecting stop time duration, you can stop all notifications for a selected period of time.

Note: You won’t get push notification, but you’ll be able to see new notifications when you open Threads.

2. Threads and replies notifications

In Threads, you can manage Threads and replies related notifications and allow From everyone, From people you follow or make them Off.

Here, you can manage settings for,

  • Threads Likes notifications
  • Threads Replies notifications
  • Mentions notifications
  • Thread Reposts notifications
  • People Quotes you notifications
  • People’s First threads notifications

At last, you also get the option “Additional options in system settings…” to open Threads app system settings.

3. Following and followers notifications

These settings allow you to manage Following and Followers related notifications. You can On or Off notifications for different actions.

Here, you can on or off notifications for,

  • Follower requests
  • Accepted follow requests
  • Account suggestions
  • Pre-followed user joined Threads

At last, you also get the option “Additional options in system settings…” to open Threads app system settings.
